First setup Marco by connecting it to your existing router and power it on according to its quickstart. Next you connect to the “Marco” kids network or “Marco_parents” for the parents network. The wifi passwords are shown on the bottom or side of the Marco device. Using the default settings, Marco is already enabled to block porn – well that was easy!
If you want to fine tune Marco’s filtering settings, go to http://Marco.lan while on the “Marco” network and enter the default username “admin” and password “admin”. Click the Services option and then Web Filtering on the left side. Click the tab Categories. This is where you will find the the different filtering categories. Enable the Pornography category to block porn. There are a number of other categories you can block as well, such as malware, weapons, intolerance, gambling, etc. Click Save & Apply after making changes.
